The regeneration of Little Lever was kickstarted by a new £5m library and health centre, providing vital services for residents in a single convenient location.
Other key developments focus on retaining and re-vitalising the heart of the town centre, providing facilities that encourage a thriving day and night-time economy.
Priority projects highlighted in the Little Lever masterplan include improvements to major Town Centre gateways and signage, creating an improved pedestrian route through Memorial Gardens to Tesco, public realm works to the square on the Mytham Park precinct and a shop front improvement scheme.
There are also opportunities to focus on improved transport links to Radcliffe, Bury and Manchester, and improving pedestrian links, public realm and car parking.
